Beginner Beekeeping
Join Axel Krause, former President of the West Kootenay Beekeepers, and the Ministry of Agriculture Apiary Inspector for the Central Kootenay and Kootenay Boundary Regions for a two-day course in partnership with Selkirk College. You will learn about hive selection, colony management, essential tools, and important regulations. Participants have the choice of attending in person or virtually. This course is a perfect intro to the Beginner Beekeeping field days hosted at ERC over the spring and summer.
