Native plants are different from non-native wildflowers that, while pretty in your backyard, may not naturally occur in your local area. At Elk Root Conservation, we recognize native plants as an Indigenous heritage resource and an important part of supporting local biodiversity.

This three-hour field day will introduce native plant gardening and explore how native species can be used to create gardens and flower meadows that support local wildlife and pollinators.
