This practical field day focuses on swarm management and summer hive care. Participants will learn how to safely catch swarms, build and use bait boxes, and introduce swarms into a hive. The session also covers checker-boarding techniques to relieve brood nest congestion, reduce swarming risk, and ensure bees have enough space for optimal honey production during the summer honey flow.
